React Job: Frontend React Developer – Remote

My client is a fast growing SaaS company who are looking to rapidly scale their business. Whilst your primary focus will be writing code, you will also develop an understanding of the business of retail and turning this understanding into solutions that support our customers, staff, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong working understanding of the business and how our systems create value
• Work collaboratively within the team from inception to production & assist other developers (PRs, mentoring)
• Take ownership of work and responsibility for getting it done
• Write and contribute to well-designed, testable, efficient production-ready code (including CI & CD, units tests)
• Identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities and ensure they are escalated as necessary

Skills and Experience:

• 2-5+ years of commercial software development
• Working knowledge of ReactJS and associated testing frameworks
• Working knowledge of JavaScript
• Working knowledge of unit testing for front-end code
• Skilled at troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Awareness of security, performance, and accessibility issues
• Capable of mentoring and coaching team members as required
